2011/02/09		Golden-Cut Yachts founder Richard Granberg today bought all immaterial rights and the inventory etc from the bankruptcy estate. No new business/manufacturing is today planed except for handling and support of the 10 Golden-Cut boats on the market and their owners.
2010
2010/12/16		Only 3 weeks before the planed big European launch at the “Boot” Düsseldorf, Golden-Cut Yachts announces bankruptcy due to extremely bad leisure boat market and no short turnaround of the market in sight. The company suffered from low liquidity due to the bad market and therefore sales. During the last months the owners (GIAB, Almi Invest, R. Granberg and Västervik Invest) have discussed/negotiated recapitalisation of the company. Unfortunately without success.
2010/08/25		Golden-Cut Yachts announces that Lustbåtar is official representative on the west coast of sweden in conjunction with the attending of the on water show Öppna varv på Orust/Open Yards at Orust, approx. 70 km north of Gothenburg. 2010/08/16		Golden-Cut participated in the Stockholm "Star hunt" boat race. An event where teams compete in hunting for clues and perform task in the beautiful Stockholm Archipelago. The insurance company Insplanet was competing in a Golden-Cut in "Team Insplanet". View clips from the event on Youtube.com.
2010/07/14		Golden-Cut was represented at the famous Stockholm Sandhamn Classic Boat Day. One of our happy clients went to the event and Golden-Cut 28 became one of the most admired boats in the harbour.
2010/07/07		Golden-Cut went with two boats to "Almedalsveckan" which is a big conference week in Visby, Gotland. Golden-Cut founder Richard Granberg and invoestor Mats Gabrielsson from GIAB where invited to talk about Golden-Cut Yachts. The response in the harbour for the boats where as always extremely positive.
2010/07/04		Golden-Cut was invited to join the Storebro Royal Cruiser Club "classic weekend" on the beautiful club island Jolpen in Stockholm. Only Storebro owners are invited, and Golden-cut. It was a big honour and a beautiful day to meet with other classic yacht lovers.
2010/06/16		Golden-Cut participated with a boat on the Celebrity Golf event in Stockholm, "Stjärngolfen". View clips from the event on Youtube.com.
2010/03/05		Golden-Cut Yachts participates on the Stockholm International Boat Show in stand B10:21 where both boat models (Golden-Cut 28 G and W) are showed at the same time. Also a very successful new share issue has resulted in two new owners, internationally well known businessman Mats Gabrielsson and the venture capital organisation ALMI Invest. 2009/10/04		Golden-Cut Yachts launches the new model Golden-Cut 28 G in conjunction with the exclusive Scandinavian Boat Show in Stockholm. For more information see our press release in the press area.
2009/09/04		Golden-Cut Yachts announces that Galärbryggan is official representative in Stockholm for Golden-Cut Yachts in conjunction with the attending of the on water exhibition "Stockholm Floating Boat Show" in Stockholm. For more information see our press release in the press area.
2009/08/20		Golden-Cut Yachts is attending the on water exhibition "Öppna Varv på Orust" on the Swedish west coast. For more information see our press release in the press area.
2009/03/01		Golden-Cut 28' will be attending the Volvo Ocean-Race visit in Stockholm. Golden-Cut 28' will be situated directly in front of the Stockholm Castle at Skeppsbron where a temporary marina will be set up. More information can be found under Appointments.
2009/02/27		Golden-Cut is now starting production and has sold three boats to three Swedish internationally very famous business profiles (Sven Hagströmer, Mats Gabrielsson andRichard Båge). The first 5 boats will be ready in June/july 2009. The press release is released in conjunction with the start of Stockholm International Boat Show which Golden-Cut is attending. 2009/01/15		Golden-Cut has acquired a perfect location for the manufacturing of Golden-Cut in Västervik, Sweden. Some brush up and adaptations will be done during the spring. The building is Storebro:s old facility in Västervik today owned by Windy Scandinavia.

2008/12/20		The 3 first Golden-Cut are sold! Delivery in the summer of 2009. More information will come about the the very famous and respected buyers.
2008/12/08		An very important breakthrough has been done in the Golden-Cut Project. After a long search for the most excellent wooden boat competence in the world a production contract has been signed. The search went all over the world including Sweden, Finland, Poland, Ukraine, Italy etc. Finally a partner was found that could live up to the high standards of Golden-Cut. The superior handcrafted wooden work on Golden-Cut will be done by a 3 generation family boatyard in today's world leading wooden boat building nation Turkey. Turkey and Scandinavia has a similar boating history and the yard has the right excellent competence that Golden-Cut has been looking for why it was a perfect match.
2008/06/26		Golden-Cut wins an business plan and innovation contest. The organiser was the Swedish bank / Investment company Tjustbygdens Sparbank. Among 97 contestants Golden-Cut was the final winner. More information can be found in the press release here.
2008/03/10		The first public presentation of Golden-Cut on the "Allt för Sjön" fair was a great success over our expectations and assures the project plans. Since Golden-Cut is influenced by the Storebro Solö Ruff Mr. Granberg had the opportunity to have a presentation about the project for the SRCC (Storebro Royal Cruser Club) on their yearly meeting. The response was standing ovations and a comment that Golden-Cut was a worthy modern successor. Due to the interest on the fair we had to start a waiting list for the most interested clients so please contact us if you will be one of the Golden-Cut owners in the future.
