| Richard Granberg is the founder
of Golden-Cut Yachts, an innovator / entrepreneur and
classic wooden boat enthusiast. Richard Granberg started his
first company at the age of 22 in 1992. Up to the Golden-Cut
project Richard started up and developed and later sold a
couple of companies and projects within Mobile Information
Technology. Richard has also been involved in helping other entrepreneurs and
worked as a Senior Business Advisor within different lines
of businesses. In 2007 Richard finished his involvement
in all other projects to focus on his new passion, Golden-Cut
Yachts. The idea for
Golden-Cut came up through the meeting between Richard and
Evert, a wooden boat builder with more than 30 years of experience.
Together they renovated Richard's wooden boat (Storebro Solö
Ruff 1964) and talked
boat building, Scandinavian design, maintenance etc.
The combination of business and wooden boat building
knowhow resulted in the start of the Golden-Cut project. Other
leading high quality marine partners
and suppliers where approached for co-operation.
These co-operations secured a high
quality production and the first Golden-Cut 28
W was delivered in June 2009. Spring 2010 GOlden-cut 28 G
was launched.
